Start Up "Team" Leader

I was tasked to write my own bio. I thought this would be a fun experiment to see how long it will take someone on the team to recognize that I actually did not put a bio in and put in this little "prank" instead. I guess this kind of thinking might be the reason why I lead the Start Up and Innovation phases of our company's and not say the "accounting". (1 day and counting)

Starting a company is like eating glass and staring into the abyss. So if you go into it expecting it is just going to be’s not. It is easier to just a get a job somewhere....but if you are wired to do it. Than you should do it.

Amanda Ruff

Website "Team" Leader

I have had the pleasure of working for a number of established companies and organizations, ranging from world renowned non-profits to start-up companies, as a graphic designer, marketer, and social media manager. Prior to my real world experience, I studied Creative Advertising at Michigan State University where I began discovering who I was and what I wanted to do with the skills I had learned.

My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of symmetry behind the idea I’ve been assigned and a design approach that's enticing visually. I do several iterations on each point and end up refining the one I find most in line with the character of the brand and is aesthetically appealing.

Through my experience, I have found that social media management in partnership with enticing designs is paramount to a successful organization. It not only is a vital tool in brand recognition, but impacts the way your audience views you, relates to you, and interacts with you on a day-to-day basis.

Ultimately, my goal is to help the viewer develop a positive and lasting relationship with your company, brand, or organization.

It takes an awful lot of work to get to simple.

Sales & Marketing "Team" Leader

I’ve spent my life surrounding myself with the right people who inspire, motivate, and challenge me to be the best that I can be. Created 2 C is perhaps the perfect example of this as John, Joni, Amanda, and Jeremy are all excellent at what they do, and they bring a lot of energy to C2C. John’s vision, mentorship, and experience, Jeremy’s energy and drive, and Joni and Amanda’s design and creativity are the ideal support for me in my role as Sales and Marketing team leader, as they provide what I lack in vision and creativity, and I am enabled to use my strength of process implementation. As a result, C2C is essentially a well-oiled innovation machine, taking new inventions and technologies and turning them into products, and then companies.  Our mission to create a better world is realized as we are helping solve major worldwide issues, such as bringing clean water to developing nations. This is made possible through the work that we do, and our innovation creates the opportunity to make lasting change in the world.  Through this structure, I am not only empowered to be the most effective I can be, but also find meaning and purpose in my work.
